WhistleStop Farmers Market Gaining Popularity

Take Me To Post Comment Form

After writing about the WhistleStop Farmers Market, I have received many request for more information concerning the City of Pembroke and events. Many who inquire are very positive of the prospects of a Market that is closer to their home and support the continuation of the event held every month who are not only from Pembroke, but people who live close by, to the area. As a result I then decided to include my most recent inquiry from from Yelp. Go WhistleStop Farmers Market! www.riverstreetherald.com !!!!!!

Once again we find a delightful place located in Bryan County, GA in the Town of Pembroke. The City of Pembroke, GA held their monthly Whistlestop Farmers Market this past Saturday located near the downtown area of Pembroke, GA.

Sharroll Fanslau, Executive Director of the Downtown Development Authority, received us graciously and explained all about the great future for Pembroke and the Whistlestop Farmers Market.

The Farmers Market this past Saturday included venders from The Pembroke Garden Club, The Church of God, Helen's Hobby, The Sawdust Factory, Cards for a Cause and various other types of vendors. As both my husband and myself walked to each vendor, we both found a family like atmosphere with small town hospitality.

Pembroke, GA is a convenient area to travel that is close to several counties located near Bryan County, GA.

Looking for a place to take the whole family? Whistlestop Farmers Market will have another Farmers Market in the beginning of June. So bring the whole family and enjoy meeting and shopping with the Town Of Pembroke, GA.

Are they going to have any more? I would like to check it out. I am originally from Bryan County but now in Metter. If they are looking for vendors I may be interested. My site is www.paintersalley.org

Response:

Hi, they are having a Farmers Market this coming Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00pm. They are having something every month and this one includes Water Slide for the kids, snow cones, market vendors, arts and crafts vendors. On Sunday July 1, they are having there Patriotic Picnic and Concert. If you like a booth, contact City Hall @ 912-653-4419. I know they love to have you and the prices are reasonable too!
