I had a dream a few nights ago of a beautiful dinner plate resembling the remnants of a quilt. As I reached for the plate, I noticed a word engraved in its pattern. The word read: BARTER.
There is a remnant of folks, who will embrace the TRUTH.
The truth is we will BARTER FOR OUR FOOD.
Acts 4:32-35
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.
"AND GOD'S GRACE WAS SO POWERFULLY AT WORK IN THEM ALL THAT THERE WERE NO NEEDY PERSONS AMONG THEM!"
Can you imagine living in a world with no needy people? It seems every store I enter in to lately, has someone standing out front asking for money or donations!
I have no doubt, poverty would cease to exist in this country, if God's people would line up with His word, and bless one another. Welfare is not God's best for His children. I understand they're situations where there seems to be no other option, and one must rely on such assistance for a season. However, God has equipped His kids with the ability to gain wealth and be good stewards over such wealth. It was never His intentions for us to become enslaved by the Federal Government!!
Deuteronomy 8:18
18 But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God; for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Oh, and while I am thinking about it... Just because it says, "APPLE", doesn't mean you can eat it, it's a phone!! Stop investing in all the gadget crap, and teach your kids a skill, they're going to need it to barter in the days to come.
Beekeeping is a great place to start,
