The power of Twitter was evident Wednesday.
Pro golfer Kevin Streelman sent out a tweet that he had two extra passes to Wednesday’s practice round at the Masters. But to claim them, you had to be a junior golfer who had never been to the Augusta National Golf Club and you had to be accompanied by a parent. You also had to get there quickly, since Streelman put out the tweet Wednesday morning just before 8.
In stepped South Effingham High School’s Harrison Stafford. Stafford tweeted back to Streelman “I’ve never been! I’m 17 and my mom could take me!!!”
To which Streelman replied, “Here’s the winner!!! Enjoy brother”.
